The Brief

At bunny + bear, we love to create our own unique products alongside collaborating with others on their businesses and crafting bespoke artwork tailored to their needs. Our passion lies in making meaningful, design-led pieces that spark joy and connection.

The ‘Made with Love’ greeting card collection was born during lockdown, a time when connection felt more important than ever. The goal was to design a set of cards that could be sent to loved ones as heartfelt gestures, while also serving as standalone pieces of art worth displaying. Each card needed to feel thoughtful, uplifting, and aesthetically beautiful, made with care and attention to both emotion and sustainability.

Our Approach

We focused on the emotional impact of the designs, ensuring each card would deliver warmth and encouragement while doubling as a keepsake. Inspired by playful colour palettes, expressive hand-lettering, and personal experiences of separation and togetherness, we created artwork that could resonate universally.

Sustainability was integral to the process. From the use of 100% biodegradable eco paper to recyclable packaging, every material choice reflected our commitment to thoughtful, responsible design.

What We Created

We developed a limited-edition box of six (152mm x 152mm) folded square greeting cards, each paired with a kraft envelope. Every card features an original illustration and message, created to bring a smile or even a tear of joy:

• ‘You’re doing great!’ – An affirming, motivational design for anyone who needs a little lift.

• ‘We’ve missed you all year!’ – A nostalgic nod to time spent apart, perfect for reunions.

• ‘Love you more!’ – A bold and vibrant expression of affection.

• ‘You are my sunshine!’ – Bright and cheerful, evoking light and love.

• ‘Sending you hugs!’ – A gentle reminder that someone is thinking of you.

• ‘Miss your face!’ – A fun and playful way to say "I miss you" with heart.

Each design is printed on thick, tactile 300gsm eco paper and can be framed as a mini artwork, giving the cards a life beyond their initial purpose. The full set is wrapped in eco-friendly tissue paper and presented in a recyclable box, perfect for gifting.

The Result

The ‘Made with Love’ collection struck a powerful emotional chord. Customers praised the quality, creativity, and thoughtfulness behind each design. Many shared that they had framed the cards or sent them as part of care packages. The set has become a popular item on the Bunny + Bear site, showcasing how creativity and kindness can go hand in hand in both product and purpose.
