Branding the Bizarre: How 'The House of the Strange' Came to Life in Print

When House of the Strange approached us, we knew we were in for a creative ride. The client had a bold vision for their new T-shirt printing business: a brand identity that was eerie yet magical, dark but fun, and somehow balanced black tones with illuminous brights. Think Illuminati meets Tim Burton, with a splash of outer space. A visual paradox, but one we were excited to explore.

The client, a huge Stranger Things fan, wanted their brand to feel otherworldly, mysterious, and quirky, with a neon edge that would stand out in both print and digital formats.

We had the pleasure of working with the lovely Emily over the last few weeks. Emily, a London-based photographer (soon to be based in Chichester), approached us for a brand refresh. She was in the process of updating her website and wanted a new logo and business card design that reflected her vibrant and colourful photography style. With a focus on helping small businesses and community-based organisations, Emily wanted her visual identity to feel creative, colourful, and natural, just like her images.
